Woman questioned on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving

A woman is being questioned on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, following a fatal road traffic accident in West Yorkshire earlier this morning.

At around half past five a motorcyclist crashed into a BMW on A645 Pontefract Road in Knottingley.

The 53-year-old biker, from Pontefract, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 33-year-old driver of the BMW 3 Series is being held in police custody.
