80-year-old Haworth man has gone before Bradford Magistrates.
An 80-year-old Haworth man has been charged by detectives with murdering his elderly wife.
Clem Callaghan is accused of killing 76-year-old Eileen, whose body was discovered at the couple’s home in Ivy Bank Lane on Sunday 5th August.
The previous nighthe wasfound unconscious at the wheel of his car. He then had had to be held in hospital until he was fit enough to be questioned by police.
Mr Callaghan went before Bradford Magistrates and has been remanded in custody, until his appearance at Crown Court next week.
Investigations into the death have been ongoing by the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team.
